Technical Difficulties!

Hey there my dear Nerdcore nation, I want to thank you for keeping with me all this time. From lack of money to computer problems that continue to persist, I will be doing as much posting as I can for this week to catch up on lost time. So a quick rundown of things that will be coming up:

-Astronomers find Gallifery
-Comic Review East of West
-Doctor Who? Do we really need his name.
-Expansion of Netflix and a review of Hemlock Grove
-Website Spotlight: Miniature Market

And More! So thank you again my friends and your amazing host with the most will be back to full strength soon enough.

NEWS! To Infinity and BEYOND!

This could very well be N.A.S.A.’s new slogan. Their new space suit prototype Z-1 and Portable Life Support system 2.0 look akin to Disney/Pixar’s Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story 1,2 and 3. As of late this design wouldn’t be the only Disney/NASA cross over. They are designing an “Educational Experience” centered around the flight of Buzz, that will hopefully get children and young adults interested in space exploration, science and technology. Personally I think this is really neat. The Space Suit is domed with white base with a neon green trim. With this all I can say to NASA is: TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!

I was browsing through the internets likes I do and I came across a really awesome pick up line.

I’m attracted to you like the Earth is attracted to the Sun
– with a large force inversely proportional to the distance squared.

I thought you all should know it. I will be using this soon so stay tuned for results!

VIDEOS! Warm Bodies!

Ok here we go. I love zombies. Absolutely love them. However when it comes to my zombies I am pretty elitist. I prefer the original Night of the Living Dead to pretty much any othe zombie movie out there. The exception is however Sean Of The Dead and iZombie. But when I saw the preview for Warm Bodies while watching The Walking Dead with my wifey I knew deep down in my undeadheart I would have to watch this. It is a story about a boy who is infected with the plague. He has a best friend and an unending hunger. Then he meets a girl and all zombie hell breaks loose. I love the idea of this movie so much I’m going to include the trailer so you dont have to track it down by yourself.

Hey everybody (hi doctor ned.), I have ben crawling throu the darkest dungeons in Youtubeland and found some pretty tasty morsels to feast upon. A couple of months ago my DM called it quits and so the group dispersed. Since then I’ve been more then a little nerdraged at it. Anyhoo, To quiet my nerdhulk from breaking my glasses, I have been looking for other nerdist things to pass the time. Miniatures, videos, music, books really anythingbecause im now freverabored on game nights and in my free time. To get on with it the first set of videos I’ve found star Chris Perkins: The DM to the Stars and the Writers of Robot Chicken. The videos go to about 25 and I am on the 13th. I love the series. I get to watch peoplewh ienjoy watching on one nerd show, nerd out on another show. The series is funny and worth a watch if you like D&D AND Robot Chicken.

This second set of videos hails from one of the Forrest of Geek. LARP or Live Action Role Play is a subject that even most of it’s veterans don’t talk to much about I have noticed. But this is a hobby that should be touched on. It is an immersive story. Not for a miniature but for you! You won’t be rolling dice to see if you hit, you will be bludgeoning your foes with your foam sword or axe or calling out spells and damage. It is something I would love to get into yet sadly there isn’t much in the way of nerd around here where I live. This documentary is split between 13 chapters. By the second chapter you will be hooked int watching the rest and not just because Crimson is hot. Without further ado here is The World Of LARP.

And for this final video, I must present one of the manliest men in MERICA! The letters in his name spells I END LIVES! VIN DIESEL PLAYS D&D!
